Draft Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaptation plan
About the draft plan
The Transforming Bunbury’s Waterfront project is actively working to investigate and manage potential coastal erosion and flooding in the project area so that this can be incorporated into development planning, and management of coastal risks to public and private infrastructure.
This draft plan identifies land and assets within the Transforming Bunbury's Waterfront project area that could be vulnerable to possible future coastal erosion and flooding and provides a long-term adaptation framework.
It was prepared based on community input provided through surveys that asked locals to share what they most valued about the local coastline for the purpose of allowing decision-makers to make informed decisions about future coastal management and planning.
